In a nutshell

We Jump Any Line (“We Jump”) was the idea of entrepreneur and Argella founder Amar Rajani, a service designed to take the hassle out of waiting in any line by providing real-time data, insights and fast-track tips to help beat queues.
 
The original idea was borne out of waiting in line for Her Majesty The Queen’s Lying-in-State in 2022, and realising how the intersection of data, technology and behavioural psychology makes the art of queuing both varied and complex, creating an opportunity to be leveraged.
 
Passport Waiting Time acquired the rights to We Jump in May 2023.

Tell us about your background

I was originally a user of Passport Waiting Time and became fascinated with the level of data, visibility, and transparency that they were able to provide customers from crowd-sourcing. I reached out to their founder, Andy Anderson, to congratulate him on his platform and began to appreciate the extensive transferability and application across so many other services that I use for travel, whether it is booking VIP fast track services, or simply understanding queue times when making bookings for attractions abroad.

 
The acquisition of WeJump allows Passport Waiting Time to offer its customers even more comprehensive travel services, including tips and opportunities on how to avoid lengthy queues and legitimately jump any line, making it the perfect complement to its existing suite of services.

What do you enjoy about solving for in your role business?

I enjoy working to help entrepreneurs realise their ideas, and companies to scale and transform digitally. Looking and solving for problems that I can relate to in a personal capacity or with my business hat.

What keeps you motivated?

I am motivated when being constantly challenged. Working with so many different companies, I continue to learn and apply what I have learnt in one industry to another domain.

What’s been your biggest learning experience?

When things don’t work out. I’ve seen this over time with companies that have not succeeded when they have a good product but haven’t the right market fit or value. In recent times, funding has been hard for some companies that have yet to gain significant client traction.
 
I’ve also learned the hard way, that you can’t always trust people. This sounds obvious, but even when you act in good faith, you have to expect the worst if things go wrong and how to minimise risk.

Any advice you would give to someone starting out in your field?

Validate your idea first. Make sure that not only someone likes your idea, but that there is a commercial value behind it. Often entrepreneurs can have great ideas and the capability to build a great product but can forget the cost of acquisition and the commercial strategy needed to take this to the next level and scale.

Who has inspired you the most in your journey and why?

Other founders, CEOs and anyone who takes a risk to achieve their dreams. It’s not easy stepping out of your comfort zone to try something new. People should not be afraid of failure if there is the possibility of success.

What is your next big challenge?

I am currently working with Ultimate Performance on achieving my six-pack abs (just kidding, although this may actually happen). I am really focused on laying the foundations to improve health, confidence and vitality. Getting in amazing physical shape along the way is a nice bonus!
